Tafsir (Explanation):
This verse exposes the most severe form of injustice — the crime of lying about Allah and His revelation. Who could be more unjust than the one who invents falsehood against Allah, claiming that He did not send any messenger from among mankind? Or the one who falsely declares, "Revelation has come to me," when nothing was ever revealed to him? And who could be more unjust than the one who arrogantly boasts, "I will reveal something like what Allah has revealed," challenging the divine Qur'an with their own fabricated words?
Imagine, O Messenger, if you could witness the moment when these wrongdoers are drowning in the agonies of death. The angels of punishment stretch out their hands toward them, striking and seizing their souls, and say with stern rebuke: "Extract your own souls! Today you will be repaid with the punishment of utter humiliation — because you used to speak lies about Allah without any right, and because you were too proud to submit to His signs and follow His messengers."
If you could see that terrifying scene, you would witness something beyond imagination — souls clinging to their bodies, angels enforcing the divine decree, and the criminals realizing — far too late — the weight of their arrogance and deception.
A Call to Reflection and Faith:
Dear reader, this verse is not merely a historical account — it is a living warning and a profound invitation. It teaches us that no sin is greater than fabricating lies about Allah or rejecting His guidance out of pride. The Qur'an is Allah's uncreated word, a miracle that no human can imitate, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His final messenger — truthful in every claim.
Let this verse awaken your heart: do not be among those who turn away from the truth out of arrogance, for the angels are ever ready to carry out Allah's justice. But also know that Allah's mercy is vast — the door of repentance is open until the moment of death. Come back to your Lord today, submit to His signs, and taste the sweetness of faith before you face the bitterness of that final hour. The Qur'an is not a book to challenge — it is a light to follow, a healing for your soul, and a guide to eternal success.
