Surah Al-Baqarah — Verse 23

Not the whole book — just one single chapter, even the shortest one like *Al-Kawthar* (Chapter 108). And if you think you cannot do it alone, then call upon all your helpers, your idols, your poets, your eloquent speakers, and anyone you rely on besides Allah to assist you in this task. Bring your combined forces and try to match even a fraction of the Qur'an's miraculous nature — if you are truly truthful in your claim that Muhammad (peace be upon him) fabricated this book himself.

This is a challenge that was issued to the most eloquent Arabs of that time, a people who were masters of poetry and rhetoric. Yet, despite their immense linguistic abilities, they could not produce anything remotely similar to the Qur'an. This inability itself is a clear proof that the Qur'an is not the work of any human, but the very Word of Allah, the Lord of all worlds.
