Surah Al-An'am — Verse 61

This is a reminder that we are never alone; every word we speak, every action we take, and even the secrets of our hearts are known and preserved. The verse then describes the final moment of every soul: “Until when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take his soul, and they do not fail.” When the appointed time arrives, the Angel of Death — accompanied by his assistants — takes the soul with precision and care, neither delaying it nor advancing it. These messengers are utterly faithful to Allah’s command; they do not neglect, err, or fall short in any way. This is a powerful reminder that death is not a random event but a divinely ordained appointment that no one can escape or postpone.
