Explanation of the Verse:
Their reward with their Lord on the Day of Resurrection is Gardens of everlasting residence, beneath which rivers flow—streams of water, milk, honey, and wine that never spoil. They will remain there forever, never to leave, never to die, and never to know fatigue or sorrow. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is pleased with them, having accepted their faith and righteous deeds, and they are pleased with Him, overwhelmed by the generosity of His gifts and the splendor of His honor. This is the ultimate triumph: mutual satisfaction between the Creator and His believing servants. And this magnificent reward—this eternal bliss and divine pleasure—is reserved for those who fear their Lord in this worldly life, who stand in awe of His majesty, who obey His commands, and who abstain from what He has forbidden. Such fear is the root of all goodness, for it restrains the soul from sin and drives it toward righteousness.
A Daʿwah Reflection:
Imagine a reward so great that the Lord of the heavens and the earth—the King of all kings—expresses His pleasure with you, and you, in turn, are completely content with Him. This is not merely a garden; it is a relationship of love and satisfaction that transcends all worldly joys. The key to this eternal happiness is simple yet profound: *khashyah*—a sincere, heartfelt fear of Allah that transforms your life. When you truly revere your Lord, you naturally incline toward good and turn away from evil. This verse invites every soul to pause and ask: *Do I live my life conscious of Allah's watchful eye? Do I strive to earn His pleasure?* The door is open for all who seek it. Allah does not require perfection; He requires sincerity. So take the first step today—fear Him in your heart, obey Him in your actions, and trust that His promise is true. The Gardens await, and His pleasure is the greatest of all rewards.
