Explanation of the Verse:

O Messenger, Allah instructs you to say to those who reject the truth and stubbornly oppose your call: "I do not ask you for wealth, status, or any worldly gain. I only advise you with one single matter — a simple, profound principle that can unlock the truth for you if you are sincere."

That one matter is this: Stand sincerely for the sake of Allah alone — free from prejudice, arrogance, and blind following of your forefathers. Do this in pairs, so that two of you may discuss and challenge each other's assumptions, or individually, so that each person can contemplate with a clear and focused mind. Then, after this sincere seeking of truth, reflect deeply upon the man who has come to you with this message — Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Think about his life, his character, his honesty, and his trustworthiness. You have known him for decades. You called him "Al-Amin" (the trustworthy) before he ever received revelation. You entrusted your valuables to him. He never lied, never cheated, never betrayed. So ask yourselves: could such a man, known for his sound mind and impeccable character, suddenly become insane? Could a madman deliver a message so coherent, so profound, so transformative that it has already begun to reshape the world around you?

The answer is clear: there is no madness in him. He is not possessed, nor is he a poet or a sorcerer as you claim. He is only a warner — a messenger sent to you before a severe punishment, to alert you of the consequences of your actions and to guide you to safety before it is too late.

A Call to Reflection and Faith:

Dear reader, this verse is a timeless invitation — not just to the people of Makkah, but to every human being who seeks the truth. It calls upon you to set aside your biases, your inherited assumptions, and your ego, and to sincerely reflect upon the message of Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a man of impeccable character, and the Qur'an he brought is a miracle of eloquence, wisdom, and guidance that continues to inspire millions across the centuries.

The path to truth is not complicated. It begins with a sincere heart, a clear mind, and a willingness to think. Allah does not ask you to believe blindly; He invites you to reflect, to reason, and to seek. And when you do, you will find that the message of Islam is not a burden — it is a mercy, a light, and a salvation. It is a warning from a loving Creator who does not wish to punish you, but to save you from the consequences of your own choices.

So take that one step today: pause, reflect, and ask yourself — what is the truth? The answer is closer than you think.

📜 Verse 44-48 — Saba

And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muhammad], any warner.
And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach.
Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness."
Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen."
