Surah Al-Furqan — Verse 54

Allah, the Exalted, says that He created a human being from a humble drop of fluid—the seminal fluid of a man and a woman. From this insignificant beginning, He brought forth an entire human being, with all its complexity, beauty, and life.

Then, from this creation, Allah established two types of relationships that bind people together: nasab (blood lineage) and sihr (marriage ties). Through nasab, children are connected to their fathers and ancestors, forming families and tribes. Through sihr, two families become united through marriage, creating bonds of affection, cooperation, and mutual support. These relationships are not random; they are divinely ordained systems that build societies, preserve honor, and spread mercy among people.

The verse concludes with a powerful reminder: "And your Lord is ever All-Powerful." This phrase is not limited to the past—it is a continuous and eternal attribute. Allah’s power was, is, and will always be absolute. He who created a human from a drop of water can do anything He wills. He can create, destroy, resurrect, and re-create. Nothing is impossible for Him.

He is Qadīr—He can answer your prayers, relieve your distress, and grant you what you need. Let this knowledge fill your heart with hope and your life with gratitude. Turn to Him, for He is the One who created you, honored you, and continues to sustain you every moment. Indeed, your Lord is All-Powerful over all things.
