Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.

Word Meanings:
Āyātinā: Our signs, proofs, and evidences that point to Allah's oneness and His divine commands.
Wa-stakbarū: They showed arrogance and pride, refusing to submit and obey out of haughtiness.
Lā tufattahu lahum abwābu al-samā': The gates of heaven will not be opened for them — neither for their deeds during life nor for their souls at death.
Yalija: To enter or pass through.
Al-jamal: The camel, one of the largest animals.
Sammi al-khiyāṭ: The eye of a needle, the smallest of openings.
Explanation of the Verse:
Allah Almighty declares that those who rejected His clear signs and evidences, and who turned away from them in arrogance and pride — refusing to submit to His guidance and obey His commands — are utterly cut off from all good. The gates of heaven will not be opened for them: neither for their righteous deeds (which are rejected due to their disbelief), nor for their souls when they die, nor for their supplications, for they will not be answered. Moreover, they will never enter Paradise — not ever — until a camel passes through the eye of a needle. And this is an absolute impossibility, for the camel is among the largest of creatures while the needle's eye is among the narrowest of openings. Thus, their entry into Paradise is as impossible as that. Such is the recompense Allah gives to the criminals — those who persisted in sin and transgression, especially the polytheists and deniers of truth.
A Call to Reflection and Faith:
Dear reader, ponder how this vivid imagery strikes the heart with clarity: the vast camel and the tiny needle's eye — a picture of utter impossibility. This is the fate of those who let arrogance block their hearts from the truth. But Allah, in His infinite mercy, has left the door of repentance wide open for every soul before death arrives. Do not let pride — the very sin that doomed Iblis — keep you from submitting to your Lord. Humble yourself before the One who created you, embrace His signs with a sincere heart, and you will find the gates of heaven opened wide for you, and Paradise awaiting you as an eternal reward. The choice is yours, and the time is now.
[Allah] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire." Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire. He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know."
Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.
But those who believed and did righteous deeds - We charge no soul except [within] its capacity. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.
