Surah Al-Ghashiyah — Verse 19

Explanation of the Verse:

Allah then directs the disbelievers’ attention to the mountains, asking them to reflect: "And to the mountains, how they were set up?" The mountains were raised and firmly planted into the earth, standing as colossal, immovable structures. They were not placed haphazardly, but with perfect precision, serving as stabilizers for the ground beneath our feet. Without them, the earth would constantly shake and tremble, making life unstable and unbearable. Their towering peaks, deep roots, and solid composition are a testament to the Creator’s infinite power and wisdom. They remain steadfast, never swaying or vanishing, enduring for centuries as silent witnesses to Allah’s majesty.

Look at the mountains around you — their grandeur, their strength, their permanence. Who but the Almighty could raise such colossal formations and anchor them so firmly? This is not a random accident of nature; it is a deliberate sign from the Lord of the Worlds.
