Remembrance upon returning from a journey - Hisn al-Muslim

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

🌐 English Translation

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.

آيِبُونَ، تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Aa-ee-boona, taa-ee-boona, aa-bee-doona, li-rabbi-naa haa-mee-doona, sadaqal laahu wa'dahoo, wa nasara 'abdahoo, wa hazamal ahzaaba wahdah.

🌐 English Translation

We are returning, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.
