Supplication for Distress - Hisn al-Muslim

1/4 ❀

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

La ilaha illallahul-'Azeemul-Haleem, la ilaha illallahu Rabbul-'Arshil-'Azeem, la ilaha illallahu Rabbus-samawati wa Rabbul-ardi wa Rabbul-'Arshil-Kareem.

🌐 English Translation

There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Almighty, the Forbearing. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the Noble Throne.

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو، فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma rahmataka arju, fala takilni ila nafsi tarfata ayn, wa aslih li shani kullahu, la ilaha illa anta.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not entrust me to myself even for the blink of an eye, and rectify all my affairs; there is no god but You.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin

🌐 English Translation

There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.

4/4 ❀

اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahu Allahu Rabbi la ushriku bihi shay'a

🌐 English Translation

Allah, Allah is my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.
