Supplication for Opening (Istiftah) - Hisn al-Muslim
O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced the east from the west. O Allah, purify me from my sins as a white garment is purified from filth. O Allah, wash away my sins with snow, water, and hail.
Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, wa tabaarakas-muka, wa ta'aala jadduka, wa laa ilaaha ghayruka.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours. Blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty. There is no god worthy of worship except You.

I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth, inclining towards truth, and I am not of those who associate partners with Allah. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. No partner has He, and with this I have been commanded, and I am of the Muslims. O Allah, You are the King, there is no deity worthy of worship except You. You are my Lord, and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive all my sins, for none forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of manners, for none guides to the best of them except You. Turn away from me the evil of them, for none can turn away from me the evil of them except You. Here I am at Your service, and all good is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You. I am with You and to You. Blessed and Exalted are You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.
Allahumma Rabba Jibra'ila wa Mika'ila wa Israfila, Fatira as-samawati wa al-ardi, 'Alima al-ghaybi wa ash-shahadati, Anta tahkumu bayna 'ibadika fima kanu fihi yakhtalifun. Ihdini lima ukhtulifa fihi min al-haqqi bi-idhnika innaka tahdi man tasha'u ila siratin mustaqim.
O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth concerning that which they have differed, by Your permission. Indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.
Allahu Akbaru Kabeera (three times), Alhamdu Lillahi Katheera (three times), wa Subhanallahi Bukratan wa Aseela.
Allah is the Greatest, much greater (three times). And praise be to Allah, abundantly (three times). And glory be to Allah morning and evening.
A'udhu billahi min ash-shaytan: min nafkhihi, wa nafthihi, wa hamzihi.
I seek refuge with Allah from the devil: from his puffing (arrogance), his spitting (poetry), and his whispering (insinuations).
O Allah, to You be all praise. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them. To You be all praise; You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them. [To You be all praise; You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them.] [To You be all praise; Yours is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them.] [To You be all praise; You are the King of the heavens and the earth.] [To You be all praise.] [You are the Truth, Your promise is true, Your word is true, the meeting with You is true, Paradise is true, Hellfire is true, the prophets are true, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is true, and the Hour is true.] [O Allah, to You I have submitted, upon You I have relied, in You I have believed, to You I have turned in repentance, by Your help I have argued, and to You I have referred for judgment. So forgive me for what I have done in the past and what I will do in the future, what I have concealed and what I have declared,] [and what You know better than I do.] [You are the One who brings forward and You are the One who delays; there is no god but You.] [You are my God; there is no god but You.] [And there is no power nor strength except with Allah.]
