خَيْرُ الدُّعَاءِ دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ، وَخَيْرُ مَا قُلْتُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ قَبْلِي: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Khayru ad-du‘ā’i du‘ā’u yawmi ‘Arafah, wa khayru mā qultu ana wan-nabiyyūna min qablī: Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr.

🌐 English Translation

The best of supplications is the supplication on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said is: There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.
