Supplication for Entering the Mosque - Hisn al-Muslim

يَبْدَأُ بِرِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى⁽¹⁾ وَيَقُولُ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ⁽²⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

Yabda'u bi-rijlihi al-yumna wa yaqoolu: A'oodhu billahil-'Azeem, wa bi-wajhihil-kareem, wa sultanihil-qadeem, minash-shaytanir-rajeem.

🌐 English Translation

He begins with his right foot and says: I seek refuge with Allah the Almighty, and with His Noble Face, and His Eternal Dominion, from the accursed Satan.

[بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ]⁽¹⁾ [وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ]⁽²⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu 'ala Rasulillah.

🌐 English Translation

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah.

3/3 ❀

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ ⁽¹⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatik.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
