Supplication in Bowing (Ruku) - Hisn al-Muslim

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem (1).

🌐 English Translation

Glory is to my Lord, the Most Great (once).

2/5 ❀

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahumma ighfir li.

🌐 English Translation

Glory be to You, O Allah, our Lord, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me.

سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ، رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subboohun Quddoosun, Rabbul-malaa'ikati war-rooh.

🌐 English Translation

Most Glorious, Most Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit (i.e., Gabriel or the holy spirit).

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ رَكَعْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، خَشَعَ لَكَ سَمْعِي، وَبَصَرِي، وَمُخِّي، وَعَظْمِي، وَعَصَبِي، [وَمَا اسْتَقَلَّتْ بِهِ قَدَمِي] (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma laka raka'tu, wa bika aamantu, wa laka aslamtu. Khasha'a laka sam'i, wa basari, wa mukhkhi, wa 'azmi, wa 'asabi, [wa ma istaqallat bihi qadami].

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, to You I have bowed, and in You I have believed, and to You I have submitted. My hearing, my sight, my mind, my bones, my nerves, and [what my feet carry] are humbled before You.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْجَبَرُوتِ وَالْمَلَكُوتِ وَالْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subhana dhil jabaruti wal malakuti wal kibriya'i wal 'adhamah.

🌐 English Translation

Glory be to the Possessor of might, dominion, majesty, and grandeur.
