Supplication for the Prostration of Recitation - Hisn al-Muslim

سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ، ۞فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ ⁽¹⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

Sajada wajhi lilladhi khalaqahu, wa shaqqa sam'ahu wa basarahu bihawlihi wa quwwatihi, fatabaraka Allahu ahsanul-khaliqeen.

🌐 English Translation

My face has prostrated to the One Who created it, and split open its hearing and sight by His might and power. So blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.

اللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِي بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَجْرًا، وَضَعْ عَنِّي بِهَا وِزْرًا، وَاجْعَلْهَا لِي عِنْدَكَ ذُخْرًا، وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَهَا مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوُدَ ⁽¹⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma uktub li biha 'indaka ajran, wa da' 'anni biha wizran, waj'alha li 'indaka dhukhran, wa taqabbalha minni kama taqabbaltaha min 'abdika Dawud.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, record for me thereby a reward with You, and remove from me thereby a burden, and make it a treasure for me with You, and accept it from me as You accepted it from Your servant David.
