Supplication for Repaying Debt - Hisn al-Muslim

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahummak-fini bi-halalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bi-fadlika 'amman siwaka.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, suffice me with what is lawful (halal) against what is unlawful (haram), and enrich me by Your grace from needing anyone else besides You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa dhala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt and from the overpowering of men.
