Supplication in Prostration - Hisn al-Muslim

1/7 ❀

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subhana Rabbiyal A'la (1).

🌐 English Translation

Glory is to my Lord, the Most High (1).

2/7 ❀

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdik. Allahumma ighfir li.

🌐 English Translation

Glory be to You, O Allah, our Lord, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me.

3/7 ❀

سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ، رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subboohun Quddoosun, Rabbul-malaa'ikati war-rooh.

🌐 English Translation

Most Holy, Most Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit (Jibril).

4/7 ❀

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ وَصَوَّرَهُ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ، تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma laka sajadtu, wa bika aamantu, wa laka aslamtu, sajada wajhi lilladhi khalaqahu wa sawwarahu, wa shaqqa sam'ahu wa basarahu, tabarakallahu ahsanul-khaliqeen.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, to You I have prostrated, and in You I have believed, and to You I have submitted. My face has prostrated to the One Who created it and formed it, and brought forth its hearing and sight. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.

5/7 ❀

سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْجَبَرُوتِ وَالْمَلَكُوتِ وَالْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Subhana dhil-jabaruti wal-malakuti wal-kibriya'i wal-'azamah.

🌐 English Translation

Glory be to the Possessor of dominion, sovereignty, pride, and greatness.

6/7 ❀

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ: دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ، وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma-ghfir li dhanbi kullahu: diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa ‘alaniyatahu wa sirrahu.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, forgive me all my sins: the small and the great, the first and the last, the open and the secret.

7/7 ❀

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma inni a'udhu bi-ridaka min sakhatika, wa bi-mu'afatika min 'uqubatika, wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhsi thana'an 'alayka anta kama athnayta 'ala nafsik.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate praise upon You; You are as You have praised Yourself.
