Supplication before eating - Hisn al-Muslim

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنْ نَسِيَ فِي أَوَّلِهِ فَلْيَقُلْ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِرِهِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Bismillah, fa in nasiya fee awwalihi falyakul: Bismillahi fee awwalihi wa aakhirihi

🌐 English Translation

In the name of Allah. If one forgets to say it at the beginning, let him say: In the name of Allah at its beginning and its end.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ، وَأَطْعِمْنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ سَقَاهُ اللَّهُ لَبَنًا فَلْيَقُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma barik lana fihi, wa at'imna khayran minhu, wa man saqahu Allahu labanan falyakul: Allahumma barik lana fihi wa zidna minhu

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, bless us in it, and feed us with something better than it. And whoever is given milk to drink by Allah, let him say: O Allah, bless us in it and increase us from it.
