Supplication upon rising from bowing (Ruku') - Hisn al-Muslim

1/3 ❀

سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah.

🌐 English Translation

Allah hears those who praise Him.

2/3 ❀

رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Rabbana wa lakal-hamdu hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih

🌐 English Translation

Our Lord, and to You be all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا، وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ، أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْمَجْدِ، أَحَقُّ مَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ، وَكُلُّنَا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma rabbana lakal-hamdu mil'as-samawati wa mil'al-ardi wa ma baynahuma, wa mil'a ma shi'ta min shay'in ba'd. Ahlas-sanai wal-majd, ahaqqu ma qalal-abdu, wa kulluna laka abd. Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayta, wa la mu'tiya lima mana'ta, wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, our Lord, to You is all praise, filling the heavens and filling the earth and whatever is between them, and filling whatever You will after that. O Possessor of praise and glory, the most truthful thing a servant says, and we are all Your servants. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the wealth of the wealthy does not avail them against You.
