Supplication for Visiting Graves - Hisn al-Muslim

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ، [وَيَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنَّا وَالْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ]، أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

As-salaamu 'alaykum ahla ad-diyaari minal mu'mineena wal muslimeen, wa innaa in shaa' Allahu bikum laahiqoon, wa yarhamu Allahul mustaqdimeena minnaa wal musta'khireen, as'alul laaha lanaa wa lakumul 'aafiyah.

🌐 English Translation

Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the dwellings, among the believers and the Muslims. And indeed, we will, by the will of Allah, join you. May Allah have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us and those who are to come later. I ask Allah for well-being for us and for you.
