Supplication for Seeing the Crescent Moon - Hisn al-Muslim

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ، وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضَى، رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahu Akbar. Allahumma ahillahu 'alayna bil-amni wal-iman, was-salamati wal-islam, wat-tawfiqi lima tuhibbu rabbana wa tarda. Rabbuna wa rabbukallah.

🌐 English Translation

Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, bring it (the new moon) upon us with security and faith, with safety and Islam, and with success to that which our Lord loves and is pleased with. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah.
