Supplication for Entering the Marketplace - Hisn al-Muslim

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwa hayyun la yamutu, biyadihil khayru, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

🌐 English Translation

There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is the Living who does not die. In His Hand is all good, and He is over all things competent.
