Supplications for Rain (Istisqa) - Hisn al-Muslim

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا، مَرِيئًا مَرِيعًا، نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ، عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma isqina ghaythan mughithan, mari'an mari'an, nafi'an ghayra darrin, 'ajilan ghayra ajil.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, send upon us a fruitful rain, beneficial, wholesome, productive, beneficial not harmful, immediate not delayed.

اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma aghithna, Allahumma aghithna, Allahumma aghithna

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, send us rain. O Allah, send us rain. O Allah, send us rain.

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِ عِبَادَكَ وَبَهَائِمَكَ، وَانْشُرْ رَحْمَتَكَ، وَأَحْيِ بَلَدَكَ الْمَيِّتَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Allahumma isqi 'ibadaka wa baha'imaka, wanshur rahmataka, wa ahyi baladaka al-mayyita.

🌐 English Translation

O Allah, give water to Your servants and Your beasts, spread Your mercy, and revive Your dead land.
