The Virtue of Sending Blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) - Hisn al-Muslim

قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بِهَا عَشْرًا (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Qaala sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam: Man salla 'alayya salatan sallallahu 'alayhi biha 'ashra.

🌐 English Translation

He (peace be upon him) said: Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.

وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا تَجْعَلُوا قَبْرِي عِيدًا، وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ؛ فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ تَبْلُغُنِي حَيْثُ كُنْتُمْ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Wa qāla ṣallā llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam: lā tajʿalū qabrī ʿīdan, wa ṣallū ʿalayya; fa inna ṣalātakum tablughunī ḥaythu kuntum.

🌐 English Translation

And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not make my grave a place of festivity, and send blessings upon me, for your blessings reach me wherever you are."

وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: الْبَخِيلُ مَنْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيَّ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Wa qaala sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: al-bakheelu man dhukirtu 'indahu falam yusalli 'alayya.

🌐 English Translation

And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The miser is the one who, when I am mentioned in his presence, does not send blessings upon me.

وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً سَيَّاحِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يُبَلِّغُونِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي السَّلَامَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Wa qala sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: Inna lillahi mala'ikatan sayyahina fil-ardi yuballighuni min ummati as-salam.

🌐 English Translation

He (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, Allah has angels who roam the earth, conveying to me the greetings of peace from my Ummah.'

5/5 ❀

وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ إِلَّا رَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي حَتَّى أَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Wa qaala sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: Ma min ahadin yusallimu alayya illa raddal lahu alayya ruhi hatta a rudda alayhis salam.

🌐 English Translation

He (peace be upon him) said: "There is no one who sends greetings of peace upon me except that Allah returns my soul to me so that I may return the greeting to him."
