Condolence Supplication

إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ، وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى، وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى، فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَلْتَحْتَسِبْ ⁽¹⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

Inna lillahi ma akhaza, wa lahu ma a'ta, wa kullu shay'in 'indahu bi-ajalin musamma, faltasbir wa-ltah tasib.

🌐 English Translation

Indeed, to Allah belongs what He has taken, and to Him belongs what He has given, and everything with Him has an appointed term. So be patient and seek reward from Allah.

أَعْظَمَ اللَّهُ أَجْرَكَ، وَأَحْسَنَ عَزَاءَكَ، وَغَفَرَ لِمَيِّتِكَ ⁽¹⁾.

🔤 Transliteration

A'zama Allahu ajrak, wa ahsana 'aza'ak, wa ghafara li-mayyitik.

🌐 English Translation

May Allah magnify your reward, and make perfect your consolation, and forgive your deceased.
