What to recite for the protection of children - Hisn al-Muslim

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَوِّذُ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ: أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ (1).

🔤 Transliteration

Kana rasoolu Allahi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam yu'awwithu al-Hasana wa al-Husayn: 'U'eedhukuma bikalimatillahi at-tammati, min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah.

🌐 English Translation

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to seek protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, saying: 'I seek protection for you both in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every evil eye.'
