Tafsir (Explanation):

Allah—glorified and exalted be He—is the One who sends the winds, and those winds stir up and lift heavy clouds laden with water. Then Allah spreads those clouds across the sky in whatever manner He wills—sometimes few, sometimes many, sometimes covering vast areas. He then breaks them into scattered pieces, and you, O observer, see the rain pouring forth from between those clouds. When Allah directs that rain to whomever He chooses among His servants, they are suddenly filled with joy and gladness, rejoicing in the mercy their Lord has sent down upon them. This rain brings life to the earth, causing it to sprout and produce the crops and vegetation they need for themselves and their livestock.

This verse is a profound reminder of Allah's absolute power and His boundless mercy. Reflect, dear reader: the same winds that sometimes bring dust and hardship are the very winds that Allah uses to carry clouds across the skies, to water barren lands, and to bring sustenance to His creation. The rain that falls is not a random act of nature—it is a deliberate, loving act of the Most Merciful, who knows exactly when and where His servants are in need. When you see the rain fall and the earth turn green, let your heart fill with gratitude and your tongue with praise, for this is a living sign of Allah's care for you. And if He can bring life to a dead land with a single drop of rain, then surely He can bring life to a weary heart with a single moment of His mercy. Turn to Him, trust in Him, and rejoice in His blessings—for His mercy encompasses everything.

📜 Verse 46-50 — Ar-Rum

And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.
It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice
Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair.
So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.
