- Nuriyannaka – We show you (in your lifetime).
- Natawaffayannaka – We cause you to die (before that happens).

Tafsir (Explanation):
O Messenger, continue your mission with unwavering patience and steadfastness, no matter how harsh the rejection or persecution from your people becomes. Do not let their mockery or denial shake your resolve, for the promise of Allah is an absolute truth — there is no doubt in it. He has promised you victory, and His promise never fails.
Either Allah will show you, in your own lifetime, a portion of the punishment He has decreed for these disbelievers — as He did on the day of Badr, when they tasted defeat, captivity, and humiliation — or He will take you unto Himself before that punishment descends upon them. In either case, their ultimate destination is Allah alone. On the Day of Resurrection, they will all return to Him, and He will repay them with the severest of torments for their persistent disbelief and their harm to His messengers and believers.
So do not grieve over their delay in punishment, nor be distressed by their arrogance. Your duty is to deliver the message with patience and trust; the reckoning is entirely in Allah's hands. He is never unjust, never late, and never forgetful.
A Da'wah Reflection:
This verse is a profound source of comfort for every believer who faces opposition, mockery, or harm while standing for the truth. It teaches us that patience is not a sign of weakness — it is a weapon of the strong. The promise of Allah is not like the promises of men; it is certain and inevitable. Whether you see justice in this world or in the Hereafter, justice will come. And what a beautiful thought: that every tear shed for the sake of Allah, every moment of endurance, is recorded and will be answered. So hold firm, dear believer — your Lord has not forgotten you, and His victory is nearer than you think. The disbelievers may rejoice today, but their return is to Allah, and His justice is perfect. Let this certainty fill your heart with peace and your steps with courage.
