هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ الدِّينِ ۝٥٦

Translation — Tafsir

This is the hospitality prepared for them on the Day of Recompense—a humiliating reception of scalding water and bitter, thorny fruit, in stark contrast to the generous reception awaiting the righteous.

54فَشَارِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَمِيمِ

And drinking on top of it from scalding water

55فَشَارِبُونَ شُرْبَ الْهِيمِ

And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels.

56هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ الدِّينِ

That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.

57نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ

We have created you, so why do you not believe?

58أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا تُمْنُونَ

Have you seen that which you emit?
