Surah Al-Mulk — Verse 15

Then Allah commands us: “So walk in its regions” — meaning, travel through the earth, move about in its various lands, seek your livelihoods, and explore the provisions that Allah has placed within it. The verse then adds: “And eat from His provision” — for everything you consume, every fruit, grain, and sustenance you enjoy, comes from Allah’s boundless mercy. He has prepared it for you, and He invites you to partake of it with gratitude.

Finally, the verse concludes with a powerful reminder: “And to Him is the resurrection.” This life, with all its pursuits and pleasures, is not the end. You will all return to your Lord, and He will hold you accountable for how you used this earth, how you earned your provision, and how you spent your days. So let your walking, your working, and your eating all be done with the awareness that you are on a journey — and your final destination is before your Creator.
