Tafsir (Explanation):
With this single water that He sends down from the sky, Allah brings forth for you a vast variety of crops, grains, and harvests that sustain your lives. From the same water, He causes olive trees to grow, yielding blessed fruits and oil; date palms that bear sweet, nourishing dates; and grapevines that produce clusters of delicious fruit. And beyond these specific examples, He brings forth from the earth every kind of fruit and produce imaginable—each with its own taste, color, shape, and benefit.
Indeed, in this remarkable process—that one water source gives rise to such diversity, that a single drop nurtures countless different plants, each with its unique qualities—there is a clear and undeniable sign for people who reflect. Those who think deeply will recognize that this cannot be the work of chance or nature alone. It is the work of a Wise, Powerful, and Merciful Creator who provides for His creation with perfect order and generosity.
Daʿwah Reflection:
Dear reader, pause for a moment and look at the food on your plate. The grains, the fruits, the olives, the dates, the grapes—all of them came from the same earth and the same water, yet how different they are in taste, color, and benefit! This is not a random accident; it is a loving invitation from your Creator to know Him. Every time you eat a fruit, remember that Allah is telling you: "I made this for you, out of My mercy." He could have made all fruits taste the same, but He diversified them to delight you and to show you His infinite power and care. So let every meal be a moment of gratitude, and let every bite deepen your connection to the One who provides. Reflect, and you will find that the Qur'an's message is written not only in its verses but also in the very world around you. Islam calls you to open your eyes, use your mind, and see the signs of your Lord everywhere—so that your heart may fill with love for Him and your life may align with His guidance.
