📖 English Meaning
Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].

Tafsir (Explanation):

O humanity! Have you not opened your eyes and truly reflected? Do you not see that Allah — in His infinite mercy and wisdom — has subjected everything in the heavens and the earth to your service? The sun that gives you light and warmth, the moon that marks your months and seasons, the stars that guide you through the darkness of land and sea, the clouds that carry rain, the winds that pollinate and move your ships — all of these are harnessed for your benefit. On earth, He has placed animals for your transport and food, trees and plants for your sustenance, water for your thirst and agriculture, and countless resources you extract and utilize. Everything operates in perfect harmony to serve you — not because you deserve it, but purely out of His grace.

And beyond this, He has completed and perfected His blessings upon you — both the visible and the hidden. The visible blessings include your physical form, shaped in the most beautiful and balanced manner, with functioning limbs, senses, and faculties that allow you to interact with the world. The hidden blessings include your intellect, your capacity for knowledge and understanding, your emotional depth, your innate moral compass, and the very breath of life itself. Even the blessings you are unaware of — the countless systems within your body, the protection of your health, the mercy woven into every moment of your existence — are all part of His overwhelming generosity.

Yet, despite all these undeniable signs and overwhelming favors, there are among mankind those who argue and dispute about Allah — His oneness, His right to be worshipped alone — without any knowledge, without any guidance, and without any illuminating scripture from Him. They debate matters of faith based on blind imitation, arrogance, or hollow rhetoric. They have no proof from revelation, no sound rational basis, and no divine book to support their claims. They simply argue for the sake of arguing, turning away from the clear evidence that surrounds them.

A Call to Reflection and Gratitude:

Dear reader, pause for a moment and count the blessings that surround you right now. The air you breathe, the heartbeat you never command, the mind that comprehends these very words — all are gifts from your Lord. If you were to try to enumerate His blessings, you could never count them all. So why would you argue against the One who gave you everything? Why would you dispute His right to be worshipped when every fiber of your being testifies to His existence and mercy?

The heavens and the earth are open books of His majesty. Every sunrise and sunset, every fruit that grows, every child that is born — all proclaim His greatness. Let your heart soften, let your tongue utter gratitude, and let your limbs submit to the One who has given you all that you have. Do not be like those who argue without knowledge, for their arguments will vanish like foam on the ocean's surface. Instead, be among those who see the signs, reflect upon them, and respond with faith and thankfulness. For the One who subjected the universe for you is the One who deserves your love, your worship, and your devotion.

📜 Verse 18-22 — Luqman

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.
And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."
Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?
And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.
