Surah Sad — Verse 67

O Prophet, say to those who deny and turn away: This Qur’an is not an ordinary speech or a trivial matter—it is a news of immense magnitude and profound consequence. It is the greatest announcement ever conveyed to humanity, carrying within it the message of salvation for those who believe and utter destruction for those who reject it. Its greatness lies in its source, its content, and its purpose: it is the word of Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, revealed as a guide for all of mankind.

This news is not merely information to be heard and forgotten; it is a decisive call that demands a response. It tells of the Oneness of Allah, the reality of the Hereafter, the accounts of previous nations, and the straight path that leads to eternal success. Those who embrace it with sincerity find in it light, mercy, and a way of life that brings peace to the heart and justice to society. Those who turn away from it, heedless and distracted by the fleeting pleasures of this world, lose the greatest opportunity ever offered to them.

Reflect, dear reader: if a letter arrived from a king commanding your attention, you would not ignore it. How then can one ignore the message of the King of all kings, the Lord of the worlds? This Qur’an is that very message—a treasure of guidance, a mercy for the believers, and a proof against the disbelievers. Its news is great because its stakes are eternal: belief in it is salvation, and rejection of it is ruin. Let every soul pause and consider: what could be more important than responding to this mighty announcement? Open your heart to it, and you will find that it speaks directly to your soul, guiding you to the path of everlasting happiness.
