- Kathirah (كَثِيرَةً): Abundant, plentiful, or numerous.

The Interpretation:
In this blessed verse, Allah Almighty continues to shower His favors upon the believers who pledged their allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) under the tree at Hudaybiyyah — a pledge known as the Pledge of Ridwan (Divine Pleasure). Allah had already expressed His profound satisfaction with these sincere believers, for He knew the depth of faith, truthfulness, and loyalty embedded in their hearts. He sent down tranquility upon them and fortified their resolve, turning what appeared to be a setback at Hudaybiyyah into a gateway of immense blessings.
Now, Allah promises them "abundant spoils" — the wealth and properties of the Jews of Khaybar, a fortified oasis rich in agricultural lands and treasures. This was to be their compensation for the missed opportunity of entering Mecca that year. Indeed, after the peace treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Muslims marched to Khaybar, and Allah granted them a swift and decisive victory, distributing the spoils among the fighters as He had promised. This was not merely a material gain; it was a divine testament to the truth of the Prophet's mission and a reward for their unwavering patience and obedience.
The verse concludes with a profound reminder: "And Allah is Ever-Mighty, All-Wise." He is Mighty — none can thwart His will or overcome His power — and He is All-Wise — He places everything in its perfect place, granting victory to whom He wills and withholding from whom He wills, all according to His infinite wisdom and justice.
A Call to Reflection and Action:
Dear reader, ponder upon this beautiful promise! The companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not see the spoils with their physical eyes at the moment of the pledge, yet they trusted Allah's promise wholeheartedly. Their faith was not conditional upon immediate results. And Allah, the Most Generous, fulfilled His promise in ways that exceeded their expectations.
This is the essence of true reliance on Allah (tawakkul): to obey Him sincerely, to trust His plan, and to remain patient even when the path seems unclear. The victory came not through their own might, but through Allah's power and wisdom. So, let this verse inspire you to hold firm to your faith, to be patient in times of trial, and to know with certainty that Allah's promise is true. Whatever you sacrifice for His sake, He will compensate you with what is far better — in this life and in the Hereafter. And remember, He is Al-Aziz, the Mighty Who never fails, and Al-Hakim, the Wise Who never errs in His decisions. Trust Him, for He is the Best of Planners.
