Surah Adh-Dhariyat — Verse 2

Tafsir (Explanation):

In this verse, Allah Almighty swears by the clouds that carry heavy loads of water. These are the rain-bearing clouds that Allah drives across the skies, filling them with water until they become heavy with the weight of their precious cargo. When they can no longer bear it, they release the rain that revives dead lands and provides sustenance for all living beings.

This is part of a series of oaths in which Allah swears by His magnificent creations — the winds that scatter dust, the clouds that carry water, the ships that sail smoothly, and the angels that distribute divine decrees. Each of these is a sign pointing to Allah's power, wisdom, and absolute control over the universe.
