Explanation of the Verse:
O you who have truly believed in Allah and followed His Messenger! When you meet an armed company of the disbelievers on the battlefield, do not flee or show weakness. Instead, stand firm with courage and unwavering resolve, for steadfastness is the key to victory. At that critical moment, remember Allah much—through sincere supplication, praise, and the constant awareness that He is with you. Call upon Him earnestly, for He alone grants victory and protects His believing servants. This remembrance is not merely words on the tongue; it is a deep, heartfelt connection that fills your heart with tranquility and your soul with certainty that Allah’s help is near. By doing so, you place your trust in the Almighty, and He will grant you success, triumph over your enemy, and the ultimate prosperity that comes from obedience to Him. This is a promise from Allah to those who combine patience with remembrance—that they shall attain the best of outcomes in this world and the eternal reward of the Hereafter.
