إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ ۝١
📖 Translation Verse 1
When the sky breaks apart
وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ ۝٢
📖 Translation Verse 2
And when the stars fall, scattering,
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ۝٣
📖 Translation Verse 3
And when the seas are erupted
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ۝٤
📖 Translation Verse 4
And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ ۝٥
📖 Translation Verse 5
A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ ۝٦
📖 Translation Verse 6
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ۝٧
📖 Translation Verse 7
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ ۝٨
📖 Translation Verse 8
In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ ۝٩
📖 Translation Verse 9
No! But you deny the Recompense.
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ ۝١٠
📖 Translation Verse 10
And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,
كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ ۝١١
📖 Translation Verse 11
Noble and recording;
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ ۝١٢
📖 Translation Verse 12
They know whatever you do.
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ ۝١٣
📖 Translation Verse 13
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,
وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ ۝١٤
📖 Translation Verse 14
And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ ۝١٥
📖 Translation Verse 15
They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ ۝١٦
📖 Translation Verse 16
And never therefrom will they be absent.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ۝١٧
📖 Translation Verse 17
And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ۝١٨
📖 Translation Verse 18
Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ ۝١٩
📖 Translation Verse 19
It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.
