Surah Yunus — Verse 58

Tafsir (Explanation):

O Messenger, say to all people: What has come to you from your Lord — the Qur'an and the guidance of Islam — is not a human achievement or a worldly gain. It is pure grace from Allah and mercy from Him upon you. He has favored you by sending this Book, and He has shown you mercy by guiding you to the religion of truth. So let the believers rejoice in this — not in the fleeting pleasures of this world, not in wealth, status, or possessions. For this Qur'an and this Islam are far better than everything that people accumulate from the temporary glitter of worldly life.

This joy is not a mere emotional reaction; it is a joy of the heart that translates into gratitude, obedience, and steadfastness upon the path of Allah. When a person truly understands the value of what Allah has given him — the gift of faith, the light of guidance, the sweetness of certainty — he realizes that no treasure on earth can compare. The riches of this world vanish, but the bounty of Allah remains forever. The pleasures of this life fade, but the mercy of Allah encompasses all.

So let the believer's happiness be tied to his religion, not to his bank account. Let his delight be in the remembrance of Allah, not in the accumulation of goods. For what Allah has given you — the Qur'an as a guide and Islam as a way of life — is the greatest treasure you will ever own. It is the key to success in this life and the next, the source of peace in the heart, and the means to eternal bliss in the Hereafter.

O servants of Allah, rejoice in the greatest gift you have been given. Be proud of your faith, cherish your connection to the Qur'an, and let your hearts find rest in the remembrance of your Lord. For this is truly better than everything the world can offer — and it is the path to everlasting happiness.
