Surah Ar-Rum — Verse 20

He created your father, Adam, from dust — a substance with no life, no movement, and no value. Yet from that humble beginning, Allah brought forth an entire human race. Then, by His will, you became human beings who multiply through generation after generation, spreading across the earth from east to west, filling cities and villages, each person unique in form, language, and destiny.

This single sign contains a profound miracle: the transition from lifeless dust to a living, breathing, thinking human being is something no one but Allah could accomplish. Reflect on this — you were nothing, then you became everything. Your existence itself is a living proof that your Creator is capable of all things, and that He alone deserves your worship and gratitude.

Dear reader, pause for a moment and look at your own hands, your heartbeat, your ability to think and choose. Every breath you take is a testimony to the One who created you from dust and honored you with life. If Allah could bring you into existence from nothing, then surely He is able to bring you back after death for the Day of Judgment. So do not let this life distract you from your true purpose — to know your Creator, to worship Him, and to live in obedience to His guidance. The same dust that was your beginning will one day be your resting place, and from it you will be raised anew.
