Tafsir (Explanation):
O you who have truly believed in Allah and His Messenger and who act upon His commandments! Remember your Lord with your hearts, your tongues, and your limbs — in a remembrance that is abundant and unceasing. Let your tongues be moist with His praise, your hearts be filled with His awe and love, and your bodies be obedient to His will. This remembrance is not merely a ritual confined to specific moments; rather, it is a comprehensive state of consciousness that accompanies you at all times — in the morning and the evening, after the obligatory prayers, and throughout the various circumstances and events of your daily life.
Remember Him while standing, sitting, and lying down — in every posture and every situation. Glorify Him with *Tahlil* (saying La ilaha illa Allah), *Takbir* (saying Allahu Akbar), *Tahmid* (saying Alhamdulillah), and *Taqdis* (declaring His absolute purity and perfection). Let your remembrance be a living reality that permeates your entire existence, not a fleeting thought that comes and goes.
This abundant remembrance is a profound act of worship that draws you closer to Allah, cultivates His love in your heart, and shields your tongue from sin and your limbs from transgression. It is the key to every good, the light of the believer's heart, and the source of tranquility and peace. When you remember Allah frequently, you will find that He remembers you — for He says in His sacred revelation: "So remember Me; I will remember you" (2:152). What greater honor could a servant aspire to than to be remembered by the Lord of the heavens and the earth?
Make remembrance your constant companion, O believers, for it is the nourishment of the soul and the means by which your faith flourishes. In a world filled with distractions and heedlessness, the one who remembers Allah abundantly stands out as a beacon of light — steadfast in faith, protected from evil, and ever connected to his Creator. Let this beautiful command be your daily practice, and you will taste the sweetness of faith and the joy of closeness to Allah in every moment of your life.
