Surah As-Saffat — Verse 172

Tafsir (Explanation):

Allah declares that His Messengers are, without doubt, the ones who will be granted victory over their enemies—victory through decisive proof, clear argument, and ultimately through strength and dominance. This is not merely a promise of temporary success in worldly terms, but a comprehensive guarantee that encompasses both the power of evidence and the might of arms, as well as the final triumph in the Hereafter. The victory is certain because it is backed by Allah's unchangeable decree, which no force can repel.

Furthermore, the verse extends this glad tiding to the soldiers of Allah—those who strive and fight in His cause—that they too will be the triumphant ones, for the outcome of all affairs belongs to Allah, and His party will always prevail in the end, even if trials and tribulations come their way. The ultimate victory is for the people of truth, and the defeated are always the people of falsehood, regardless of how powerful they may appear for a time.
