Explanation of the Verse:
This verse continues to unveil the magnificent attributes of Allah, the One True God. It declares that He alone is worthy of worship — there is no deity besides Him. He is Al-Malik, the Sovereign King of everything that exists, from the tiniest atom to the vastest galaxies; He governs all affairs with absolute authority, and none can challenge His rule.
He is Al-Quddus, the Most Holy, utterly free from every imperfection, weakness, or shortcoming. He is Al-Salam, the Source of Peace, free from every flaw and defect, and the One Who bestows peace and security upon His creation. He is Al-Mu'min, the Giver of Security, Who confirms His messengers with clear signs and miracles, and Who grants safety to those who seek refuge in Him.
He is Al-Muhaymin, the Watcher over all things, observing every action, every thought, and every hidden secret — nothing escapes His knowledge. He is Al-Aziz, the Almighty, Whose power is unmatched and Whose might cannot be overcome by any force in existence. He is Al-Jabbar, the Compeller, Who has subdued all of creation to His will; everything in the heavens and the earth submits to His command, whether willingly or unwillingly. And He is Al-Mutakabbir, the One Who alone possesses all greatness and majesty, exalted far above any comparison to His creation.
The verse concludes with a declaration of His absolute perfection: "Glory be to Allah above what they associate with Him." This is a profound call to purify our belief — Allah is far above and completely free from the false partners that people associate with Him in worship.
