Surah Al-Muzzammil — Verse 9

Tafsir (Explanation):

O Prophet, remember the name of your Lord and call upon Him by it, devoting yourself entirely to Him in worship and reliance. He is the Lord of the east and the west — the Owner and Sovereign of all creation, every land, and every direction. Nothing exists outside His dominion, and no one shares His authority. There is no god worthy of worship except Him alone; all other objects of worship are false and powerless. Therefore, take Him as your Guardian and Trustee, entrusting all your matters to Him — your religion, your worldly affairs, and your hereafter. Place your complete trust in Him, for He is sufficient for those who rely on Him, and He never abandons those who turn to Him sincerely.

A Da'wah Reflection:

What a beautiful and comforting command from our Lord! He who owns the east and the west — every sunrise and sunset, every beginning and end — invites you to make Him your Guardian. When you place your trust in the One who controls all things, your heart finds peace, your worries diminish, and your steps become firm. No matter how overwhelming life's challenges may seem, remember that your Guardian is the Lord of all directions and all times. So turn to Him, rely on Him, and let your heart rest in the certainty that the One who holds everything in His hands will never let you down. This is the essence of true faith — a heart that trusts its Lord completely and finds tranquility in His care.
