Surah Al-Muddaththir — Verse 26

Tafsir (Explanation):

In this verse, Allah — the Almighty — declares with absolute certainty and divine authority: "I will make him enter Saqar." This is a direct and severe warning to the disbeliever who rejected the Qur'an and opposed the truth. The word "Saqar" is a specific name for one of the deepest and most intense levels of Hellfire, reserved for those who obstinately denied the message of their Lord.

The meaning here is that Allah will cause this person to be cast into the Fire, where he will experience its burning heat and be consumed by its flames. Saqar is not merely any fire — it is a fire that spares nothing: it does not leave flesh intact, nor does it leave bone unburned. It alters the skin, blackens the complexion, and scorches every part of the body. It is a fire whose torment is relentless, and its keepers are nineteen stern and mighty angels (the Zabaniyah) who execute Allah's command without mercy or hesitation.

This verse serves as a powerful reminder that no one can escape the justice of Allah. The one who turns away from the truth, mocks the revelation, or persists in arrogance will face a punishment that is beyond human imagination.
