Explanation of the Verse:
How astonishing is the state of those who deny Allah and associate partners with Him in worship, when the clearest proofs of His power and oneness are embedded within their very own existence! Reflect, O human being, on the journey of your life: you were nothing — a mere drop, lifeless and unremembered — and then Allah, out of His infinite mercy and might, brought you into being and breathed life into you. You did not create yourself, nor did any other creature; it was Allah alone who willed you into existence.
Then, after granting you life and a span of days upon this earth, He will cause you to die at the time He has decreed for you. But death is not the end of the story — it is merely a transition. He will then bring you back to life once more on the Day of Resurrection, when all people will rise from their graves to stand before their Lord. And finally, to Him alone — not to any idol, not to any power, not to any intermediary — you will all return for the final reckoning, where every soul will be rewarded or recompensed according to its deeds.
So how can anyone, after witnessing this undeniable cycle of creation, death, and resurrection, turn away from the One who orchestrates it all? The very breath you take, the heartbeat within your chest, the life you enjoy — all are living testimonies to His existence and His sole right to be worshipped. Let this reflection awaken your heart: the One who gave you life the first time is fully capable of giving you life again. Do not let the fleeting pleasures of this world blind you to the eternal reality that awaits you. Embrace faith in Allah, submit to His will, and live a life that pleases Him, so that when you return to Him, you return with a heart full of hope and a record full of good deeds. Indeed, the greatest success is to meet your Lord as a believer, secure in His mercy and love.
