Tafsir (Explanation):

This is part of Prophet Musa's (Moses, peace be upon him) heartfelt supplication to his Lord as he prepared for the immense mission of confronting Pharaoh. In this verse, Musa asks Allah to "loosen the knot from his tongue" — that is, to remove the speech impediment he had, which made it difficult for him to speak fluently and clearly. This was not merely a request for eloquence for its own sake, but a practical need: he was about to deliver the message of monotheism to one of the most tyrannical rulers in history, and he needed his words to be understood with precision and impact.

The scholars explain that Musa had a speech difficulty — a stutter or a heaviness in his tongue — which he feared would hinder the people from grasping the full weight of his message.
