He chose Noah (peace be upon him), making him the first messenger sent to the people of the earth after a long period of ignorance and idolatry, and saved him and his followers from the great flood. He also chose the family of Abraham (peace be upon him), establishing prophethood and scripture among his descendants—including Ishmael, Isaac, and their progeny, culminating in the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who is from this blessed lineage. Likewise, He chose the family of Imran, which includes the prophets Moses and Aaron (peace be upon them), and the righteous family of Mary, the mother of Jesus (peace be upon him). All of these were distinguished by Allah with divine revelation, moral excellence, and leadership over their peoples, making them beacons of guidance for all of humanity.
