Translation — Tafsir
Word Meanings:
- ادْخُلُوهَا (Udkhuluha): Enter it — i.e., Paradise.
- بِسَلَامٍ (Bi-Salam): With peace and safety — free from all harm, fear, or distress.
- يَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ (Yawm al-Khulud): The Day of Eternity — the day of everlasting life with no end.
Tafsir (Explanation):
On that magnificent Day, the believers will be welcomed with the most beautiful greeting. It will be said to them: "Enter Paradise in peace and safety." This is not merely an entry — it is an entry accompanied by total security from every evil, every sorrow, and every fear. Nothing will ever trouble them again. No pain, no grief, no fatigue, no parting — only pure, unending bliss.
This is the Day of Eternal Abiding — the day when death itself is brought and slaughtered, and it is announced: "O people of Paradise! Eternity is yours — no death ever again. O people of the Fire! Eternity is yours — no death ever again." So the believers will live forever in the gardens of delight, never to leave, never to fade, never to grow old or weary.
A Call to Reflection:
Dear reader — imagine a peace that never ends, a joy that never fades, a life with no expiry date. This is what Allah has prepared for those who believe and do righteous deeds. The door of Paradise is open, and the invitation has been sent to you. Will you not respond? The road may have trials, but the destination is eternal peace. Every hardship in this world is temporary — but the peace of Paradise is forever. Let this verse awaken in your heart a longing for that everlasting home, and let it motivate you to draw closer to Allah with every breath you take. For the One who promised this Day is the One who never breaks His promise.
