Surah Al-Qamar — Verse 45

Allah Almighty declares that the gathered host of the disbelievers—who once boasted of their strength and numbers—will be utterly defeated and will turn their backs in retreat, fleeing in humiliation before the believers.

On that day, Abu Jahl, the arrogant leader of the disbelievers, had arrogantly proclaimed, "We are a victorious host." Indeed, the Muslims, though few in number and meager in equipment, were granted a decisive victory by Allah’s power, and the leaders of disbelief fell, their ranks broken and their pride shattered.

This verse carries a timeless lesson: no matter how great the numbers, wealth, or might of those who oppose the truth, their strength is but a fleeting illusion when set against the will of Allah. Victory belongs to Allah and His faithful servants, and the end of every tyrant and oppressor is defeat and disgrace.

So hold fast to faith, for the promise of Allah is true: the gathering of falsehood, however intimidating it may appear, will inevitably scatter and flee, while the light of truth will shine forever. Let this verse fill your heart with courage and certainty, and let it draw you closer to the One who grants victory to His sincere servants.
