Tafsir (Explanation):
O people, know with certainty that your Lord is Allah alone—the One who created the heavens and the earth from absolute nothingness in six days. These are not days as we know them today, for the sun and moon were not yet created; rather, they are six periods of time determined by His infinite wisdom. After completing this magnificent creation, He rose above the Throne in a manner that perfectly suits His divine majesty—a rising that we affirm with faith, without asking "how" and without likening Him to any of His creatures.
Reflect upon His perfect management of the universe: He causes the night to cover the day, wrapping it like a garment, and then the day pursues the night swiftly, overtaking it in an unending cycle. Neither ever delays nor fails the other. And He created the sun as a radiant light, the moon as a reflected glow, and the stars as guiding beacons—all of them subjugated to His command, moving in their precise orbits by His will alone, never deviating from His decree.
Indeed, to Allah alone belongs all creation—everything that exists, from the smallest atom to the greatest galaxy—and to Him alone belongs all command and authority. He creates as He wills and commands as He pleases, and none can object to His decree or question His wisdom. So blessed and exalted is Allah, the Lord of all the worlds—the One whose goodness is abundant, whose mercy encompasses all things, and whose perfection is beyond any deficiency.
Da'wah Reflection:
This verse invites you to open your eyes to the universe around you—the sky above, the earth beneath, the sun that rises and sets, the moon that waxes and wanes, the stars that glitter in the darkness. Every single one of these is a living sign pointing to its Creator. If you ponder deeply, you will find that this perfect order could never have come about by chance or accident. It is the work of a Wise, Powerful, and Merciful Lord who created all of this for you—yes, for you, O human being—so that you may know Him, worship Him, and find peace in His remembrance.
When you realize that the same Lord who manages the heavens and the earth is also your Lord, your Protector, and your Sustainer, your heart fills with tranquility. He who created the vast universe in six days is certainly capable of answering your prayers, relieving your distress, and guiding your steps. So turn to Him with a sincere heart, submit to His command, and you will find in His care a security that nothing in this world can provide. This is the essence of true success—to live under the lordship of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, the Lord of all the worlds.
